Tiny 12th scale pair of 18th century ladies slipper shoes on a base made in pewter and ready for painting. Please note that you will receive UNPAINTED shoes.  I have painted a pair in the images so you can see more of the detail. The unpainted pewter metal shoes are solid, so although they have the appearance of being hollow they are filled with a gap at the top left open.

In the 18th Century slipper shoes would have been raised off the ground by placing them into wooden raised supports. This would have raised both the dress and the delicate slippers away from what would have been fairly muddy streets. The shoes were usually embroidered but plain silk slippers and supports were also worn.

  • Please be aware that I hold only a small amount of stock and make a lot of items to order and as a consequence despatch time can take up to 10 working days.

  • Note on the current Corona situation

I have recently had a surprising and unprecedented number of orders. This coupled with the fact that the couriers are struggling with volume means that delivery times will most likely be longer than normal.
