12th scale 18th century Rococo Mirror
 
Karen Bell is one of the mini worlds great silent artisans who quietly creates beautiful miniatures. Multi-skilled, with a passion for embroidery and design I have managed to persuade karen to decorate some of my lovely 12th scale 18th century items. Always a perfectionist Karen does not disappoint and has created a wonderful range of minis that are elegant, beautifully finished and deserving of any collectors cabinet. 
Fro this project Karen has chosen to paint the Rococo frame which has to be one of most favorite of all my mirrors. I love Acanthus leaves and I love flowing style so combining the two in the rather gorgeous copy of an 18th century frame is heaven. 
Supplied without a mirror or image. If you can paint in oils or you have a particularly wonderful print of an oil painting then consider this instead of a mirror. The original was a mirror but a portrait painting would certainly be a statement in a mini mansion in this frame.
